Annual Grants

 The Future Educator Grant helps to defray tuition and registration costs for AEA members or members of their immediate family who want to pursue a career in education. Grant amounts are determined by the AEA Foundation Board of Directors.

The Learning Improvement through Faculty Team (LIFT) Grant is given to projects by AEA members that enhance student learning through the collaboration of faculty, including education support professionals.  The maximum LIFT grant is $3,000.

The Promise Grants support AEA members' small projects that are in the spirit of AEA's mission - "Keeping the Promise of Quality Public Education."  Grants must address one of AEA's Strategic Objectives.  Grants will be awarded for amounts between $100 and $1,000.

 The AEA Diversity Grant is given to develop or pursue instructional programs or curriculum that promote diversity, tolerance, and respect for humankind.  The maximum annual grant is $1,000.

 The Gay-Straight Alliance (GSA) Encouragement Grant offers opportunities for Arizona Gay-Straight Alliances to improve the school climate for all students, regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity/expression.  Individual grants will be awarded for amounts between $50 and $250.
